^ Scanner – To ensure that the files reach us instantly and safely you would need to have a scanner for scanning across image files to us. This will ensure that we get the files instantly and in return process them per your turnaround time.

^ FTP Server (File Transfer Protocol) – Once files are scanned, you can either place them on your ftp site (if you have one) OR place them on our ftp site, which will enable us to download them and have them processed.

^ Project Manager – A Project Manager depending upon the size of the project at U.S to assist in our queries if any and for follow-up with the Doctor / Hospital / Patient if any additional documentation is required.

^ Firewall / VPN Software – If we are being connected to your Billing Software
 
Q Do I have to change my in-house billing systems?
A No, you don’t have to change anything. We will adapt and get trained on your Billing Systems.

All employees prior to getting on the work floor have to go through a HIPAA Training Session and the consequences if we don’t follow them. They are taught the DO’s and DON’Ts of HIPAA.

All employees are requested to sign an NDA (Non Disclosure Agreement) form with us at the time of employment, breach against this could lead to legal action against the employee.

Our Document Management System totally ensures that PHI information is not printed nor spread around. Employees view the document on one screen and enter the data in the Billing Software on another screen.
